Website privacy

What this website collects, why, and what it leaves out.

What we measure

We count visits to learn which pages help people and which buttons lead to appointments. We use two services for this: Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Google Analytics 4

Our web server reports to Google Analytics, using Google's Measurement Protocol. Your browser does not load a Google Analytics script. The server sends Google an event when you:

  • view a page;
  • tap a link to book online, call, text, email, or get directions;
  • send an insurance check request.

Each event includes the page address, the page you came from, the page title, the label of the link you tapped, a random visitor ID and session ID (described below), your approximate city, region, and country, whether you are on a phone, tablet, or computer, and your browser's language. We do not send Google your IP address, your full browser details, or anything you type into a form.

Cookies

The website sets two first-party cookies. Neither holds your name or any other personal details.

  • _cid holds a random visitor ID and a count of your visits, so repeat visits can be counted as the same visitor. It lasts two years.
  • _sid holds a session ID, so pages you view in one sitting count as one visit. It lasts 30 minutes and is renewed while you browse.

If your browser already has a _ga cookie for this website, for example from our previous website, we read the visitor ID in it so Google Analytics keeps counting you as the same visitor. This website does not create the _ga cookie.

These cookies can't be read by scripts on the page. You can block or delete them in your browser settings and the website will still work.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Pages also load Cloudflare's Web Analytics script, which measures page loads and how quickly pages load. It sets no cookies and does not track you across websites.

Forms

The insurance check form asks for your name, phone number, and insurance so our front desk can call you back. It does not ask about your health. We use it only to answer your request.

Booking happens on Jane, our scheduling system, which has its own privacy policy.
