Flat feet

“Even though we just started care for my son, I’m hopeful it will help him straighten out as he grows. He’s flat footed so his whole body is slightly off kilter, but Jason has a plan for him that I think is really going to help.”

Questions people ask

What is plantar fasciitis?

The plantar fascia is the thick band of tissue along the bottom of your foot, from your heel to your toes. When it gets irritated, it often hurts most with your first steps in the morning or after you sit for a while.

What is Morton’s neuroma?

It is a thickened nerve between the toes, most often between the third and fourth toes. It can feel like burning, tingling, numbness, or like you are standing on a pebble. Tight or narrow shoes can make it worse.

What orthotics do you use?

We fit Foot EFX orthotics. They support your arch and help take strain off your heel and the ball of your foot. Dr. Nichole fits them at your foot visit.

Can the laser help my feet?

Plantar fasciitis is one of the conditions we treat with MLS Laser Therapy, and most sessions take 10 to 15 minutes. Your doctor will tell you if it fits your pain. Learn about MLS Laser Therapy.
