How it works
MLS stands for Multiwave Locked System. Our Class 4 laser sends two wavelengths of light together, one steady and one pulsed. The steady light works on swelling. The pulsed light works on pain.
The light reaches deep into muscles, tendons, joints, and nerves and helps your body’s own healing. You may feel a gentle warmth. Then you go back to your day.

How long does a session take?
Most sessions take 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the area. There’s no downtime, so you can go right back to your day.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your condition and how your body responds. A new injury may need only a few sessions. Long-term pain or recovery from surgery may need more. Your doctor will make a plan with you.
How much does MLS Laser Therapy cost?
Your first laser visit, the New Patient MLS Laser Therapy Exam, is $55 and takes about 15 minutes. After that, a laser session is $85. You can also pair the laser with your chiropractic visit.
Does insurance cover MLS Laser Therapy?
Laser therapy is generally not covered by insurance. We’re glad to go over the cost with you before you start.
When will I feel a difference?
It depends on what brought you in. At your first laser visit, your doctor looks at the area and tells you how many sessions to plan for.
Is MLS the same as red light therapy?
No. Red light panels use LED light that stays near the surface of the skin. MLS is a Class 4 laser that reaches deeper tissue, like joints, tendons, discs, and nerves. Read the doctors’ post on the difference.

It’s a good fit for most people, like those with a new injury, long-term pain, or swelling after surgery. Some conditions need a medical doctor’s okay first. Your doctor will check at your first visit.
